West Indies Cricket Board Have Announced West Indies Cricket Team T20I and ODI Squad Against Pakistan Cricket Team 2016. The tour is scheduled to kick off from September 23 with three 20 overs game first and then the three-match ODI series will commence from September 30 in Sharjah.
West Indies’ squad will be led by the newly appointed skipper, Carlos Brathwaite in the shortest format of the game. The announced squad is similar to the one that took on India in Florida recently in the two-match T20 series that they won 1-0.
They have a strong team in T20s in the likes of Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo, Sunil Narine, Keiron Pollard, Marlon Samuels and Jerome Taylor.
The reigning T20 champions recently butchered Indian bowling line, where they posted 245 runs on the board in just 20 overs that too without Chris Gayle in the ranks.
On the other hand, West Indies’ ODI squad will be captained by Jason Holder. They played brilliantly in the tri-nation tournament in their home against Australia and South Africa.
The 9th ranked Pakistan will surely face a tough challenge against the 8th ranked West Indies. The announced West Indies squad for the 50-over series is not much experienced, but, they can surely destroy any team on their day.
West Indies T20 squad: Carlos Brathwaite (C), Johnson Charles (WK), Andre Fletcher, Chadwick Walton, Dwayne Bravo, Evin Lewis, Jason Holder, Jerome Taylor, Evin Lewis, Keiron Pollard, Marlon Samuels, Nicholas Pooran, Rovman Powell, Sunil Narine, Samuel Badree
