3 Bahadur is Pakistan’s first 3D animated film. The film has been directed by Shirmeen Chinoy with joint production of ARY films and SOC productions under Waadi anmimations. The story circles around three children who have special powers. The name 3 Bahadur refers to these 3 children, which means three brave.
In a program on ARY digital, Shirmeen was asked that what her motivation was behind the 3D film. She responded that in her childhood there were many heroes like Uncle Sargam, Ainak wala Jin etc. Nowadays children don’t have any heroes to look up to. They mostly idolize Bollywood and Hollywood actors. That’s why she thought of directing this 3D cartoon, to give the children of Pakistan heroes of their own rather than following foreign heroes.
The three main characters of the film are Kamil, Amna and Saadi who are determined to defeat evil. The film is made in a fictitious town named Roshan Basti. Evil has plagued their town and these children, who are dauntless and have super powers, stand up to save their town from it. The main antagonist of the movie is Mangu, who is a criminal lord and is assisted by his gang of thieves and thugs. The story is about heroism, courage and patriotism.
The movie also has a very catchy sound track sung by Sheraz Opal, a talented singer of Pakistan. He has also produced and composed the sound track.
The film is going to be released all cinemas of Pakistan on 22nd May. It has already been premiered and the premier was attended by many actors and actresses of Pakistan. I would encourage all parents to take their children to watch 3 Bahadur. Appreciate the efforts made by the directors of our country. Encourage the children to watch Pakistani cartoons because they create awareness about our own culture and our own social problems. Rather than watching foreign TV shows are cartoons isn’t it better that the children learn something about their own country?
