The X-files is going to return in January after 13 years break. It’s great news for the fans. But the show will have to live up to the standards of the fans, because they were quite disappointed with the movies released in 2008.
The show was initially premiered in 1993. It lasted for nine seasons and had more than 20 episodes. The show ended in 2002. It has quite successful sci-fi season. It has won sixteen Emmy Awards, Peabody Award, and Five Golden Globe awards.
The show is going to be premiered on 24th January after the NFC championship. It gives the show a great slot. The show will cast the original actors, Gillian Andreson and David Dachovny as agent Scully and Mulder. The creator Chris Carter calls it a commercial bread of thirteen years. Fans might not like that the shows is going to be aired only for six episodes.
The rumors appeared when actress Gillian Andreson posted a picture of her having ginger hair on social media. The actress, who plays agent Scully on X-files, has lighter hair. But her character on the show has got red hair. On her finger she was wearing a ring in the shape of X. Her picture was retweeted many times by fans.
David Dachovny also posted some hints about the upcoming show. He tweeted something like “Here I come, Mulder”. The creator of the show Chris Carter also shared a photo of clapper board which had “Ufo test” written on it. So we can have a guess that one of the scenes on the show will be called “UFO test”. David Dachovny also said that the show might be a mix of mythology and monsters.
The original story of the series was about agents Scully and Mulder solving the X-files, which are unexplainable mysteries involving paranormal activity. We believe that these six episodes will keep the original theme of the story alive. Fans just can’t wait for the premier. Let’s hope that the show won’t disappoint the viewers.
