Job Description

USEFP is seeking applications from qualified incumbents for the position of Human Resources Officer. This position is expected to manage a full spectrum of HR functions and perform the following responsibilities.

Recruitment

Draft Job descriptions and advertisements of vacant positions. Collect applications, short list eligible candidates and arrange Test/Interviews. Prepare job offer letters and employment agreements. Arrange orientation of new employees. Managing database of potential candidates identified in previous interviews for future hiring or replacement planning.

Compensation & Benefits 

Prepare reports for salary changes and annual increments.  Responsible for Health and Life Insurance policy, reviews, renewals and claims.  Administer Leave & Attendance records and identifying gaps. Verify staff overtime. Process final settlements for leaving staff.

Employee Engagement

Administer staff probation, modifications and annual performance reviews in compliance to USEFP applicable policies. Providing guidance to staff on inquiries relating to applicable H.R package, strategies, rules and regulations. Process disciplinary cases and address staff grievances and suggesting appropriate remedies in compliance to the organizational policies

Training & Development

Identify learning & development needs of staff  though TNA and annual performance appraisals. Arrange indoor/outdoor trainings for staff in compliance with annual training budget. Collect and analyze training feedback from the participants to ensure organizational effectiveness and best HR practices.

HR Administration

Identify gaps in HR manual and suggest amendments accordingly. Maintain and update employee’s records (print and electronic). Managing off boarding in compliance to USEFP policies. Liaison with external auditors on HR issues.

Qualifications Required:

Education and Experience 

Masters/MBA/MPA Degree with majors in Human Resources and at least 5 years of post-qualification experience as senior HR Generalist with multinational organizations is mandatory.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Fluent English and Urdu language proficiency both spoken and written is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed to interact with office staff at all levels. Proficiency in use of MS Office technologies.

Expertise in standard office management procedures is a must. Incumbent should be able to quickly learn organization policies and procedures. Should have complete knowledge of Pakistan Labor Laws and their application in workplace. Ability to work individually and with limited supervision. Should be able to maintain strict confidentiality relating to all HR matters.
