International Calling Segment Specialist

Eligibility Criteria (Education/Experience/ Certifications): – Education:
BBA, BSc / BE, Programming/Problem solving aptitude is a must
– Work experience:
2 to 4 year experience in telecom
Goals: – Excellent understanding of telecom data models and telecom systems/charging platforms/SMSC platform
– Excellent understanding of International Calling Business and OTT applications
– Effective in communicating with business users & technology teams with can-do attitude
– Effectively analyze reporting and operational issues to assist team in analyzing offers/ campaigns
– Should be able to manage high workload efficiently and perform under high pressure situations
– Taking effective measures to monetize application to peer messages
– Improving ATP operations and processes
Potential Career Path: The candidate can eye a potential growth path in International and Value Added segment as well as other marketing units within commercial division
Your typical day at work: – Monitoring ATP reports and dashboards proactively on hourly basis and update management accordingly for any significant change
– Take ownership of all business processes and its execution
– Streamlining reporting issues and improving data quality, understanding filtering rules on the SMSC firewall for blocking
– Identify monetize-able ATP traffic and recommend blocking
– Identifying gaps in firewall and block all possible gaps to monitize/control ATP traffic
– Govern price and strategy for local SMS solutions teams in order to restrict any revenue cannibalization
– Work with regulatory/legal team, customer care, and finance department for customer complaint handling and client invoicing
– Work with technology to report and resolve firewall related issues to vendor with strong follow ups

– Should have strong quantitative & analytical skills
– Analytical mind-set
– Process oriented approach towards problem solving
– Strong in follow ups with support functions to deliver solutions timely
– Have good communication & presentation skills

– Knowledge of Customer insights and drilling into Data
